Ronan Hynes commented: “Employers should have in place a robust and comprehensive anti-bullying policy that adheres to the Code of Practice for Employers and Employees on the Prevention and Resolution of Bullying at Work. A proactive approach should be adopted for both investigating and addressing complaints of workplace bullying. All staff should be made aware of this policy and senior management should be appropriately trained to recognise the type of conduct that may constitute bullying and how they should address it in the workplace.”
